Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

Omega Projects
Email: omegaproject1337+contact@gmail.com
Telegram: @OmegaProjectsSupport

This policy covers omegaprojects.de. The standalone tools at their own addresses have their own privacy policies.

2. Visiting the site

To show you a page, your browser opens a connection to our server and transmits your IP address. Without it the server cannot send the answer back.

We keep no access logs. Neither the web server in front nor the application records who opened which page and when. Your IP address is processed only for the duration of the connection and is not stored.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is being able to deliver the website at all.

3. Server and hosting

The site runs on a rented server at one.com. The provider is One.com Group AB, Carlsgatan 3, 211 20 Malmö, Sweden. one.com processes data on our behalf. At provider level there may be technical records that we neither control nor see. The provider is based in the EU, so this involves no transfer outside it.

The site data is held in a database on the same server. It is not reachable from the internet.

4. Visitor statistics

Counting works in two stages. The first always runs, the second only with your consent.

Stage 1: without consent

For each page view we store which page was opened, which external domain the visit came from, and when. No identifier is assigned, no IP address is stored and nothing is placed in your browser. These entries cannot be linked to a person.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is knowing which content gets read.

Stage 2: only with your consent

If you consent, an identifier is stored in your browser (omega_analytics_consent for your decision, omega_visitor_id for recognition, omega_session_id for the current visit). In addition we record per page view: page title, dwell time, device class, browser language, screen resolution, operating system, time zone, the address you came from, and links you click.

As long as you have not decided, this information is held only in your browser memory and not sent to us. If you consent, it is submitted afterwards. If you decline, it is discarded and no identifier is created.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

The detailed data is anonymised after twelve months: identifier, session identifier, resolution, operating system, time zone and referring address are removed, click data is deleted. Stage 1 entries never contained an identifier and are kept.

You have not decided yet.

5. Contact form

Through the contact form you submit your name, email address, subject and message. This information is stored in our database and additionally sent as a message to the operator’s Telegram chat.

We delete enquiries no later than twelve months after receipt. If an enquiry leads to a matter subject to statutory retention periods, those periods take precedence.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is being able to answer enquiries.

6. Telegram

Notifications about new enquiries run through Telegram. That means the form data reaches the servers of Telegram Messenger Inc. Telegram is responsible for processing there, not us. If you want to avoid that, send us an email instead.

If you write to us directly at @OmegaProjectsSupport, we see your display name, your username if you have one, and the content of your message.

7. Language setting

Your language choice is remembered by your browser in local storage under the name omega_lang. Only the code is stored, for example de or en. The value stays on your device and is not sent to us. The legal basis is Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.

8. What we do not use

No advertising and no ad networks. No cookies apart from the login cookie of the administration area, which only the operator receives. No services from Google, Meta or similar providers. Fonts are served from our own server; loading a page creates no connection to Google.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21). You can withdraw a consent you have given at any time.

Use the contact options above. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority of your federal state or place of residence is responsible.

10. Changes

If the site or the processing changes, we update this policy. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
